    Ashley Graham is an American model, designer, author and body activist whose influence has reshaped the fashion and media industries and redefined traditional beauty standards. Ashley has worked in numerous areas of the fashion industry including editorial, catalogue, runway, commercial, television and film. In February 2016, Ashley made history as the first size 14 model to ever be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swim. In January 2018, she became a brand ambassador for Revlon, making her the first curvy model of her generation to receive a major beauty contract.

    Ashley has been featured on the covers of Vogue, British Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar UK, Cosmopolitan, SELF, New York Magazine, Maxim and many more. She has received numerous accolades for her work, including Forbes’ coveted “30 Under 30” list and cover feature; Glamour’s “Woman of the Year,” with Mattel simultaneously creating a one-of-a-kind Barbie in her likeness; People’s “25 Most Intriguing People of the Year”; Time’s “100 Most Influential People in the Word”; The Daily Front Row’s “Fashion Force of the Year,” and is the United Nation’s Women for Peace Association’s first “Women Empowerment Award” recipient.

    Ashley is a sought-after television personality and has hosted internationally televised programs such as Miss Universe and Miss USA.     Ellen is a highly trained physiologist with a lifelong passion for health and fitness. Her desire to be on the cutting edge of fitness inspired Ellen to design “The Ultimate Workout,” which became the foundation for Orangetheory Fitness—hailed by The New York Times as an effective new plateau-busting workout. Ellen is a partner and founder of Orangetheory Fitness, and owner of Ellen’s Ultimate Workout gym in Florida.

    Inspired by her father Arthur Calandrelli, a very popular physical education teacher and coach in Niagara Falls, New York, Ellen has been motivating and training clients for over 35 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education and a master’s degree in exercise physiology from the University of Buffalo in New York.

    Before perfecting her signature workout, Ellen worked at the prestigious Bonaventure Spa when it was the main fitness retreat for the stars, and managed Williams Island Spa and The Eden Roc Spa on South Beach. She served as a TV fitness expert for six years, authored fitness columns for The Miami Herald and South Florida Sun-Sentinel and earned the title of BusinessWoman of the Year in South Florida.     Nicole Cardoza (she/her) is an award-winning serial social entrepreneur, investor, author, magician, and public speaker making wellness accessible for everyone. Her work is dedicated to addressing racial and health inequities in the U.S. She’s the founder of Reclamation Ventures, a venture studio creating and incubating ideas for our collective well-being. It also manages the Reclamation Ventures Fund, which provides philanthropic and early-stage investments in individuals and organizations making wellness more accessible. Over the past two years, it’s granted over $350,000 in direct support to marginalized wellness leaders. Reclamation Ventures is also home to Wellemental (previously Yoga Foster), a national organization providing mindfulness training and resources to schools, and the Anti-Racism Daily, a media platform providing reporting, education, and action on dismantling white supremacy. Nicole’s first published book Mindful Moves is about mindfulness for children and was published in Spring 2021. She identifies as a queer, cisgender Black woman.

  • Ingrid Fetell Lee

    Founder, The Aesthetics of Joy

    Ingrid Fetell Lee is a designer and author whose groundbreaking work reveals the hidden influence of our surroundings on our emotions and well-being. As a former design director at IDEO, author of Joyful: The Surprising Power of Ordinary Things to Create Extraordinary Happiness, and the founder of the website The Aesthetics of Joy, she empowers people to find more joy in life and work through design. Her immensely popular TED Talk “Where Joy Hides and How to Find it” has been viewed more than 17 million times.

    Lee has been featured as an expert on design and joy by outlets such as The New York Times, The Guardian, Wired, Real Simple, The Atlantic, the Today Show, HGTV Magazine, and Fast Company. She has over fifteen years of experience in design and branding, having led design programs for Target, Condé Nast, Eileen Fisher, American Express, Kate Spade, Diageo, Pepsico, and the US government, among others. She was a founding faculty member in the Products of Design program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Her design work has been exhibited at imm Cologne, Germany.

    Lee holds a Master’s in industrial design from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor’s in English and creative writing from Princeton University. She loves pancakes, polka dots, and rainbow sprinkles, and has an extensive repertoire of happy dances for any occasion.

    Kika received her BFA in dance from Montclair State University.   • Jia Jiang

    CEO & Founder, Wuju Learning

    Jia Jiang is the founder and CEO of Wuju Learning, a company that trains organizations and employees to turn rejections into opportunities. He is also known as the “Rejection Guy.” Jiang’s story started several years after his career in the corporate world. He took a risk and stepped into the unknown world of entrepreneurship, which resulted in everyone’s biggest fear: rejection. This became the catalyst that set Jiang on the path to his true calling. To conquer the fear of rejection, he embarked on a personal quest and started a video blog to face “100 days of rejection.”

    Founder, SonicYogi

    Jonathan Adams started his career as a professional musician recording classical guitar and has worked on albums for Pamplin, Intersound Records, and his own label. He later co-founded the classical fusion group Montana Skies and toured with the group nationally as a performing artist for over a decade. Jonathan’s original music has also been featured on PBS and NPR, and most recently in a score for a West Virgina Public Television documentary. He also conducted a TEDx Talk about music for mental health and how he used the power of music to cure his extreme anxiety.

  • Josh McCarter

    CEO of Mindbody and ClassPass

    Josh McCarter is CEO of Mindbody and ClassPass. Josh joined Mindbody in 2018 as chief strategy officer following the company’s acquisition of Booker, where he had served as CEO and co-founder. Prior to taking over as CEO at Mindbody, Josh served as the company’s president.

    Prior to Booker, Josh was president and COO of Arbitech, a leading independent distributor of computer hardware that achieved $1B of sales under his leadership. Arbitech was recognized as Entrepreneur magazine’s fastest-growing company in the U.S. in 2003. Josh previously served as COO of SpaFinder, managing the company’s technology, operations, and strategic initiatives. Before joining SpaFinder, he served as vice president of international development and vice president of business development for the online automotive marketing leader, Autobytel.com. Josh graduated cum laude with a BA in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and received his MBA from the Marshall School of Business at USC (and yes, he recognizes the conflict of interest!). He has held board positions with Mindbody, Booker, SpaFinder, several Autobytel subsidiaries, Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). As a result of his youngest daughter’s diagnosis with type 1 diabetes in 2009, his family has been dedicated to finding a cure by supporting a variety of type 1 causes, most recently Beyond Type 1.

    When not working, Josh is an avid adventurer, having traveled to more than 50 countries and traversed the U.S. on his Harley-Davidson.

  • Fritz Lanman

    President of ClassPass and Mindbody Marketplace

    Fritz Lanman is the President of ClassPass and Mindbody Marketplace and previously CEO of ClassPass pre-acquisition. He has been involved with ClassPass since 2013 when he led both the Seed and Series A funding rounds. Friz grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and went on to study at Yale. Fritz’s career started at Microsoft, where he held a number of Product Management and Corporate Strategy roles and worked on several notable deals, including Microsoft’s multi-million dollar investment in Facebook. These experiences sparked an interest in tech and entrepreneurship, and he began angel investing in 2010. Fritz’s passion for starting, building and investing in great companies, especially those with deep technology, directly impacted his involvement with ClassPass where he helped the founders build the company, now valued at over one billion USD.

    In addition to his role at ClassPass and Mindbody, he is an active angel investor who has backed Square, Pinterest, Wish and several other successful companies. Before ClassPass, Fritz founded Livestar, Verst and Doppler Labs.

  • Sunil Rajasekar

    Mindbody President & Chief Technology Officer

    Sunil has served as Mindbody’s chief technology officer since November 2018 and as its president since August 2020. With more than 20 years of consumer and enterprise experience, his work is focused on the company’s product and technology strategy, consumer marketplace expansion and platform development.

    Previously, Sunil served as vice president and general manager at e-commerce giant eBay, leading engineering and product management for the seller experience. He has also served as chief technology officer for Lithium Technologies and as vice president of engineering, product management and operations at Intuit. He holds an MBA from the University of Toledo.

  • Zach Apter

    Mindbody & ClassPass Senior Vice President Consumer Revenue and Growth

    Zach Apter is Mindbody senior vice president consumer revenue and growth, and was formerly chief commercial officer of ClassPass prior to acquisition, where he led pricing, packaging, inventory, marketing, and business development. Previously, Zach was the head of business and competitive strategy for Google's self-driving car project and Microsoft’s global corporate strategy team. He has a 15-year track record in consumer technology, including search, communications services, digital media, marketplaces, operating systems, business productivity services, and hardware. He holds a degree in economics from Stanford University and is the author of multiple patents in the area of consumer online services.

    Beth Leibovich is director of research at Mindbody and leads a cross-disciplinary research team of user experience researchers and market researchers. With over 12 years of experience working at the intersection of technology and the wellness industry, Beth is passionate about integrating research and data into developing great products that solve real customer problems. Beth has a master's from the University of Connecticut and is the co-author of a patented innovation. Outside of work, Beth is an active dog mom and a musician with dozens of original songs placed in tv shows and commercials.

  • Alexis Ufland

    She may jokingly call herself an “oldie,” but Alexis is definitely a top “goodie” in the industry. Alexis started her career with extensive international experience. Beginning with Steiner Transocean (the world's largest spa company) and Carnival Cruise Lines, she served as THE aerobics instructor. There’s a video out there with her and Kathie Lee Gifford working out...Jane Fonda would be so proud. Moving to Singapore, Alexis collaborated with a consulting firm to develop and launch new spa concepts throughout Asia. From there, she revamped a premiere destination spa in Italy before heading to Spain to consult with Marriott International. During that collaboration, Alexis built a premiere spa and fitness center in the Canary Islands.
